Grand Theft Auto fans are growing concerned that the Xbox Series S could hold backGTA VIwith the game perhaps demanding too much of the console.
Take a look at this incredibleVice Cityremaster mod below.
Reddit user Switch_Coverwrote, “Do you think the Xbox Series S will hold backGTA 6in any way? I don’t mean to throw any shade or start some s****y console war, but the Series S is clearly more powerful than the PS4 and Xbox One but not as powerful as the PS5 and Xbox Series X. Just wanted to know what everyone’s thoughts [are] on this.”

It’s no secret that the Xbox Series S is a far less powerful console, and yet Microsoft has a parity clause ensuring that games offer the same features on both Series S and Series X.Baldur’s Gate 3is the first game to be permitted to break that agreement, dropping the splitscreen co-op from the Series S version of the game. Could we seeGTA VImake certain adjustments if the game is as big as dataminers claim?
Senor_Tortuga308wrote, “Surely they could just reduce NPC density, turn off ray tracing, cap at 30fps for that console and it should be fine,” while SoftwareFamiliar5908added, “MaybeGTA 6will take advantage of the super resolution feature within the Xbox series RDNA 2 features, so internally the game could run at 720p but the super resolution can make it look like 1440p with no hit to performance and graphical quality.” With how longGTA VIhas been in development, I’m sure Rockstar has a worthy solution.
