Rockstar Games has posted the first official teaser forGTA VI, and the moment is finally upon us… soon.
Late last monthRockstar Gamesannounced that we’d see the first gameplay trailer forGTA VIin early December, meaning fans have spent most of today (1 December) on red alert. The good news is we finally have a proper update, and it’s time to mark those calendars.

“We are very excited to let you know that in early December, we will release the first trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto. We look forward to many more years of sharing these experiences with all of you,” Rockstarwroteon Twitter at the end of November.
“Next month marks the 25th anniversary of Rockstar Games,” Houser added. “Thanks to the incredible support of our players worldwide, we have had the opportunity to create games we are truly passionate about.
“In 1998, Rockstar Games was founded on the idea that video games could come to be as essential to culture as any other form of entertainment, and we hope that we have created games you love in our efforts to be part of that evolution.”
Rockstar Games insiderTez2 took to the GTAForumsrecently to reveal they’ve heard the studio doesn’t expectGTA VIto launch until spring 2025, which is actuallyslightly later than we’d previously heard. Worse still, they suggest the game could yet be delayed further.

“Several devs expect the release window in 2025,” theywrite. “A spring release is what’s expected. But Rockstar aimed for a Spring release for bothGTA V&RDR 2in the past that was eventually delayed to a Fall release.”
