However, one such “gameplay leak” that went viral online earlier this month has been officially debunked as the Youtuber behind it comes forward.

For those who believed the leak (which wasn’t many), they saw a small area of Vice City as our brand-new protagonist Lucia approached a purple Coquette and drove off. All in first-person.

The video went viral but it wasn’t long before hardcoreGrand Theft Auto VIfans debunked the short video, pointing out the many flaws involved.
We may never know the reason why so called fans post fake leaks online but for this one, it came at the hands of Youtuber 12th Hour.
Hosting over one million followers on his channel and known for using his development skills to remake and remaster all of our favourite games, 12th Hour’s latest project was to trick the internet with a fakeGTAVIleak.
We now know the truth thanks to anew videoposted to his channel which shows exactly how he managed to create the viral video.

From scrolling through random streets in Miami to pick the perfect location, to purchasing a “bootleg” Lucia model online, the Youtuber spent many days creating the video in an attempt to make it go viral.
The video was recentlydiscussedover on r/GTA6 and it seemed the general consensus was to be confused over who believed it at all.
“Wait did people actually think this was real lmao,” the top comment read.
