GTA 6 leaked screenshot shows massive visual improvement over Red Dead Redemption 2

December is imminent, which means very soon some of ourGTA VIquestions will be answered. I say “some” because there’s no way Rockstar Games is going to reveal everything to us in one go. Not after teasing us and stringing us along for so many years.

But even without the trailer as confirmation, it looks likeGTA VIis shaping up to be a massive visual improvement when compared withRed Dead Redemption 2. We all know that the gritty world of Arthur Morgan is still anunrivalled “masterpiece” five years later, so forGTA VIto build upon that and surpass it is exciting.

If you need to remind yourselves how goodRed Dead Redemption 2looks, here’s some wins and fails.

Still, I can attest it did indeed look great, and it makes sense thatGTA VIis a visual step up fromRDR 2. This isn’t just because hidden details have been spotted in leaked footage that exceed thedetailed pixels of horse testicles inRDR 2, but because graphics have moved on considerably.

After all, it’s been a decade sinceGTA Vwas released, with technology having come a long way in those 10 years; if the new instalment doesn’t reflect this, it would be a poor show fromRockstar. One we’re confident fans would complain about.

With further rumours now speculating that an announcement will be made on 3 December, it shouldn’t be long before we have tangible proof of how outstanding the graphics truly are. We just hope this won’t be a case of a trailer being teased and then something else drops assome fans believe.
