Well, dedicated fans have taken matters into their own hands, creating what they believe is an accurate satellite map. You may recall that before the release ofGTA V,fans put together a mock-up map using the trailer and various other assets. It ended up being pretty accurate and work has been underway on theGTA VIiteration for quite some time.
The GTA mapping community originally began work on the project when the Rockstar Games leak happened in September 2022, using the various gameplay clips and screenshots. Of course, when the official trailer dropped last month, they were able to tweak it based on the new footage that was made available. Since then, given that Vice City is based on Miami, Florida, Reddit userRandomAmy7has taken to Google Maps to find satellite shots that match theGTA VImap group’s mock-up. The end result is pretty convincing. Take a look below.

“This is huge,” one userreplied, while anotheradded, “I hope you are right.” As with all speculation, do take this map with a generous pinch of salt. Then again, given that theGTA Vmock-up map ended up being semi-accurate, it’s an interesting little project to take note of.
