InGangstar New York, the city is under the surveillance of Aurora Inc, a massive tech conglomerate which has launched an algorithmic monitoring network. This is designed to stop crimes before they start, but the cameras are occasionally turned off for 20-minute intervals when “experimental technological initiatives” need to be tested.
It’s during these 20-minute intervals that you and 19 fellow players will compete in a city-wide crime competition. The player who scores the most cash wins. You can gather cash via various nefarious crimes, or you can steal it from other players.
Unfortunately, we don’t have an exact release date for the game but the alpha test did recently wrap up so that bodes well. Devs should be in the final throes of perfecting the game - and we’ll be keeping an eye on any announcements.
