Much like the originalKerbal Space Programin 2015, many would have hoped that the sequel would eventually be ported to consoles. Sadly, following the reported closure of Intercept Games,Kerbal Space Program 2which is still in its early access phase on PC, now looks unlikely to receive its console port.
In a statementprovided toGamesIndustry.biz, Take-Two Interactive spokesperson Alan Lewis said: “On 16th April, Take-Two announced a cost reduction program to identify efficiencies across its business and to enhance the company’s margin profile, while still investing for growth.”
The statement continued: “As part of these efforts, the company is rationalising its pipeline and eliminating several projects in development and streamlining its organisational structure, which will eliminate headcount and reduce future hiring needs.”
