Rockstar’s history of PC ports has been a frustrating topic amongst its fanbase. When they do release, they tend to be months after the console launches, meaning anyone who exclusively games on PC hardware has to wait significantly longer to enjoy the latest titles.

Grand Theft Auto IV,Bully,Grand Theft Auto V, andRed Dead Redemption 2all arrived on PC later than the console versions did, andRed Dead Redemptionstill doesn’t have a PC portdespite the demand from fans.
Reddit user Unreal_Dream is one of the many fans who believe it’ll be the same story forGTA VI, which theyexpressedthrough a meme mocking Rockstar’s release windows.
While fans are hoping Rockstar will release the PC port at the same time, many are preparing for the worst, and plan on buying a current-gen console just so they don’t miss out on the game.

While a release date still hasn’t been shared, Rockstar’s publisher Take-Two hashinted at a 2025 release, meaning a reveal could be due later this year.
That being said, a lot of the discourse around the release date is rumour and speculation so take it with a hefty handful of salt.
