GTA 6 players united over fresh start in GTA Online 2

Grand Theft Auto VIremains shrouded in mystery.

Given that we’re now in October, we’re just two months shy of the one-year anniversary of the game’s reveal trailer.

And I have to say, I’m surprised that remains all we have to go on.

I didn’t expectRockstar Gamesto put pedal to the metal too soon, but I did think perhaps some screenshots might’ve surfaced to maintain momentum.

Rockstar did surface to pin down that the game is specifically targeting a fall launch window, so we should seeGTA VIland sometime in September, October, or November.

We’re still yet to see any gameplay though, nor do we know what’s happening regarding aPClaunch or the future ofGTA Online.

“I’m excited to start from scratch inGTA VI Online,” theybegan. “I playedOnlinequite a bit when it [was] first released 11 years ago. But like many people, I fell off and stopped playing. I recently tried to get back into it, but there is just so much stuff and the economy is so screwed up, that it’s pretty much impossible for a beginner to get into without investing 40 hours a week into the game.”

They continued, “A clean slate will allow so many people to be on a level playing field. That’s the ideal situation, and people are going to have to come to terms with leaving their old character behind in Los Santos.”

Plenty of users responded in agreement.

“Starting fresh will bring back the excitement and give everyone a fair shot inGTA VI Online,”agreedSimpleSammy21.

I’m in full agreement with the OP. I hopped on theGTA Vbandwagon pretty late, soGTA Onlinealways felt a tad too intimidating to me.

But a successor with a level playing field? Bring it on.
