However, while there’s a fair share of genuine leaks out there, there are unfortunately just as many fake ones. That was the case recently when a Twitter user shared what was initially believed to be a voice recording of the Take-Two Interactive CEOsaying: “An announcement is expected very soon this October 23rd … the next GTA is expected to launch in October 24.”

Fans quickly pulled the supposed voice recording apart, claiming it’s completely fake, and likely created using the latest AI tools and software.

“This has to be Ai no way the CEO would just say when Rockstar plans to reveal the game.”

“This is obviously fake. Come on”

“This is AI… there’s a 0% chance the CEO would just casually drop release dates and announcement dates to someone even if it’s not meant to be public lol”

The video was later copyrighted and removed from the platform, prompting the user to follow up with another reply saying: “So this post has been removed due to copyright… does this confirm it’s real?”

Whether it’s real or not remains to be seen, as until Rockstar or Take-Two officially share their plans for the game’s marketing and launch, nothing can be confirmed as of yet.
