So what does this have to do withGTA VI? Well fans think the game’s reveal and presumably its 2025 launch date could be very telling for when we’ll getGTA VI, or rather, when we won’t.

The usersuggestedthe respective release dates could be “Mafia 4 early in the year, andGTA VIin the fall” but went on to say the reveal makes them worried thatGTA VImay be getting delayed into 2026.

While it’s unlikely this is the case consideringRockstar Gamestold fans the game will launch sometime in Fall 2025, there’s still a small chance the developer could go back on that decision and push the game back for a bit of extra polish.

“GTA 6is almost definitely getting delayed. The game NEEDS to be perfect. The internet will absolutely rip it to shreds if it isn’t” said one fan.

That being said many fans are confidentMafia: The Old Countrywon’t interfere withGTA VI,with one fan pointing out “Take-Two is about to make a gazillion next year lol.”

Only time will tell when both games will get released, though with a title as important asGTA VIit’ll likely take priority overMafia: The Old Country, even though both will probably be excellent games.
