Few will deny that Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto series is one of the biggest properties in the video game industry, if not the entertainment industry as a whole.
Even before we were treated to the first officialgameplay trailer forGTA VI, the hype was fever pitch with a seemingly endless stream of rumours and leaks. In fact, we’re still seeing leaks to this day despite the official reveal fromRockstar Gamesin December 2023. This week, footage of astrip club inGTA VIwas making the rounds across social media.

It’s said that JarlOfRivia is the same person who previously leaked the firstGTA VItrailer. In the tweet, JarlOfRivia also mentions areportfrom reputable video game journalist, Jason Schreier.
Of course, we should take all unconfirmed rumours with a pinch of salt until proven otherwise. That being said, I am a firm believer in there being no smoke without fire. If these reports are true thatGTA VIcould be released early next year, it could also mean that we’ll be treated to more gameplay in the coming months.

Grand Theft Auto VIwill be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. At the time of writing, a PC release hasn’t been announced.
