I hope you’ve got a salt shaker to hand because this is just rumour and speculation, however, the idea of this happening isn’t out of the realms of possibility.
PlayStation has always been the target platform forGrand Theft Autoand the two have gone hand-in-hand for decades.
Grubb believes that the Sony console will be announced at a State of Play showcase in September.
Now, I would think that Sony would want to capitalise on the Christmas sales on the console and announce it in September with a November release date.

This would give them the lead for this Christmas with a bundle deal forGTA VIcoming next year ready for Christmas 2025.
Of course, nothing is set in stone and Sony has yet to even discuss the console upgrade publicly, although the hardware was the talk of Gamecom in Germany this past week.
We’ll have to wait until Sony steps onto the stage later next month but a reveal will surely happen soon, especially as so many believe this console generation is reaching its final years.
