It seems, however, thatGTA VImay make a return to supporting solo players with additional story content via DLC. According to an insider,Rockstar Gameswill be bringing back single-player expansions last seen inGTA IV.
We’re getting ever closer to theGTA VIreveal, slated for early December.
The report comes from Tez2, a known insider who has been correct on many GTA topics in the past. They recently teased the return of single-player expansions but did add that Rockstar Games could change their minds at any moment.

Tez2 explained that Rockstar had initially wanted to supportGTA VandRed Dead Redemption 2with more story content via DLC but gave up on the idea in favour of online content. “When you factor in that a single-player DLC was considered for every title sinceGrand Theft Auto IV, exceptGrand Theft Auto VandRed Dead Redemption 2were never followed through due to the focus on online and work already starting on the next title,” the insider pointed out.
Hopefully we’ll have more to go on in the coming months, oncethe trailerhas dropped in December. As always, take all rumours with a pinch of salt.
