A “screenshot” fromGrand Theft Auto VIhas “leaked” online recently… and if you’re wondering why that’s all in quotations then you’re probably the reason why this got any traction in the first place.
Rockstar Games’Grand Theft Auto VIhas been absolutely sending fans up the wall recently.
Grand Theft Autofans are desperate for anything, from screenshots to even a morsel of info from Rockstar.

They’ve taken to religiously studying theGTA VItrailer for clues, working their way through every single one of Rockstar Games’ social accounts for hints, and even tracking down the developers online to see if they’ve posted anything.
Also, as a random aside, please don’t bother the poor folks working on this game you absolute weirdos.
And now, we’ve reached the absolute peak of the coping stage: just straight up making stuff up.

There’s just one little issue with that picture - it’s fake.
This isn’t the first time they’ve tried to will something fake into existence either, as a couple of weeks ago the Grand Theft Auto community tried to convince themselvesthat thisRed Dead Redemption 2promo imagewas somehow a hint towardsGrand Theft Auto VI’ssecond trailer.
At this point, I think it’s fair to say that people are banking on the fact that everyone is so desperate to see the secondGTA VItrailer that it’s getting easier and easier to fool folks online with stuff like this.
