An insider has revealed that Grand Theft Auto fans should mark 26 October in the calendar as this is the day Rockstar will announceGrand Theft Auto 6.
SinceGrand Theft Auto 5was released in 2013, fans have been eagerly awaiting the announcement of the sixth instalment in the franchise. However, despite much coaxing, Rockstar has kept its cards close to its chest. Now according to one insider known as MarxxChris, the announcement will happen on 26 October, 2023.

“I can now confirm thatGrand Theft Auto VIannouncement is set to release on 26 October 2023,” MarxxChriswroteon Twitter. When asked for a source, they tagged a Tweet from InfinityBesk whowrote“October 26th of 2023 will be an interesting day to say the least”. InfinityBesk is a “retired GTA investigator” and “passionate Rockstar d**krider” so whether that means they have access to insider knowledge or not is anybody’s guess.

As for MarxxChris, the insider has built a reputation for leaking some accurate information on games such asPayday 3andDragon’s Dogma II.They have alsopreviously leakedinformation aboutGTA 6including rumours thatRockstarwill “enhance the realism of random encounters such as random robberies of your safehouse, being stalked while walking at night, and people attempting to enter your house or car”.
It remains to be seen if 26 October is the promised day. Fingers crossed.
