GTA 6 trailer officially smashes MrBeast’s YouTube record

Well, it happened late last night. We were finally treated to the first official trailer forGTA VIand it did not disappoint.

Following an unfortunate leak ahead of its big reveal, and we’re not just talking about theson of a developer at Rockstar Gamesthat allegedly leaked gameplay, but the studio’s hand was forced courtesy of further leaks andtheGTA VItrailer was revealednearly a whole day ahead of schedule.

Even whenRockstar Gamesteased the date and time last week for the highly anticipatedGTA VItrailer, it was alreadysmashing social media records. However, now that the trailer is finally here, it’s smashing records yet again, and I guess this record-breaking streak will be a regular trend from here on out.

Within theYouTubestratosphere, MrBeast is king not only with over a whopping 216 million subscribers, but in June 2023 the popular YouTuber smashed a record number of views for a video upload within 24 hours with amassive five million views. We would say that no one saw MrBeast’s record being broken. Yet, it was reported in August that the first official trailer forGrand Theft AutoVImight claim that record for its own. To no surprise whatsoever,GTA VIhas now smashed that record, and then some.

Grand Theft Auto VIwill be released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S sometime in 2025. A PC release date is yet to be announced.
