GTA 6 trailer song leaks, and fans are feeling the vibe

The first official trailer forGTA VIis nearly upon us and if you thought that Rockstar Games announcing its arrival would slow down the rumours and speculation, then think again.

Following a report from reputable journalist Jason Schreier,Rockstar Games’hand was seemingly forced when it announced that we’ll be treated to thefirst trailer forGrand Theft Auto VIin early December. That being said, it’s probably worth keeping our expectations to a minimum, just in case we’re treated to a logo and a small snippet of gameplay, at best.

Perhaps the best-case scenario would be a couple of minutes of gameplay as well as that elusiveGTA VIrelease date. Can you imagine the internet rage if we just get a logo? TheGrand Theft Autofan base would go into meltdown. However, if previous rumours are to be believed,GTA VIcould bereleased between 2024 to 2025.

“I don’t know if this really will be in theGTA VItrailer, but it’s incredible how it fits the Grand Theft Auto series, you can totally picture that piano riff over the title card,” said JoaoFederle. “Can’t believe it’s already been five years sinceGTA VI. This song gives me so much nostalgia,” jokes lunaticray8094. While many others have joked about the boost in views this video will receive once theGTA VItrailer eventually drops.

It’s more than likely that this song from Genesis won’t be the song featured in the debutGrand Theft Auto VItrailer, but it’s not outside the realms of possibility. After all, the lead singer of Genesis, Phil Collins, featured as himself inGTA: Vice City. Either way, we can’t wait for the trailer to drop.

Grand Theft Auto VIis expected to be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
