GTA: San Andreas Unreal Engine 5 remake is so beautiful I could weep

An Unreal Engine 5 remake ofGrand Theft Auto: San Andreasis absolutely stunning, and exactly what the remastered trilogy should have looked like.

While waiting forGTA VI, you may be inclined to play some of the older Grand Theft Auto titles to gear up for the new release. You’d be spot on to playGTA: Vice City, especially sinceGTA VIwillbring players backto the now iconic location, though you’d be a fool to not playGTA: San Andreasas well.

That being said if you’ve got aPCand the power of mods you can play the definitive version of the game, and no we don’t mean the version included in theGrand Theft Auto: The Trilogy, which wasgod-awful and made a complete mockery of a beloved trilogyof games. No, we meanthisversion, made withUnreal Engine5 and complete with RTX and a number of other graphical improvements that completely transform the game to the quality of a new-gen release.

While the gameplay hasn’t been touched, and for good reason since it’s just as fun now as it was in 2004, the graphics have been completely overhauled to the point they look almost as good asGrand Theft Auto V.

The clear blue skies, radiant sun, and colourful Los Santos buildings all look jaw-droppingly good, with CJ and his friends looking better than ever thanks to the fresh coat of paint.

Rockstar Games should take notes, this is how you remasterGTA: San Andreas, and other games in the series, the right way.
