
Guitar Hero is a series that began in 2005 that let gamers pretend that they were famous rockstars - and it was so much fun.
To be fair, while Guitar Hero never actually required anywhere near the same level of skill that’s needed to play a real guitar, the series could pose quite the challenge with speedy hand-eye coordination needed, especially on the more challenging difficulty settings.

Recently, fans have been calling for therevival of Guitar Heroas well as its alternative rival Rock Band. There has been no official word from publisher Activision that it intends to bring back the accessory-based rhythm game, that was until now, if recent reports are to be believed.

When discussing the next decade of gaming, Kotick said: “The re-emergence of Guitar Hero and other things would not be possible without the different types of resources. And so, you know, just the endless possibilities for the future that are just incredibly exciting.”
The last game in the series to arrive on consoles wasGuitar Hero Livein 2015 and if you’re lucky, you might even find a coin-gobbling Guitar Hero machine in seaside arcades.
