Details were shared in an Xpostas well as a blog, and a video has been doing the rounds showing what some of the famous faces and locations could look like with Unreal Engine 5 supporting them.

It all looks promising so far, and as you can imagine fans are optimistic for what the future holds for the belovedXboxfranchise, myself included.

“The studio is no longer named after a main villain in the lore. Nice” added another.

Some were a little more cautious, after all we’ve been burned before, saying: “the footage we saw looked pretty but it wasn’t really anything more than screenshots. I’m going to reserve any optimism until we see actual gameplay.”

For the time being, the future seems bright, and I for one am hopeful that the Halo franchise is about to get restored to its former glory.
