Halo: RedShift announced, looks like the Halo we remember

If I get the opportunity to play some more Halo goodness, you’ll never hear me complaining and this upcoming fan-made campaign should give every fan of the series a reason to get excited.

We all know that at some point we’ll be treated to a follow-up to 2021’sHalo Infinite, we just don’t know when. In March 2024 it seemed thatMicrosoft had teased the next Haloand some believe that its co-creator,Marcus Lehto could make a triumphant returnwithHalo 7.

Well, that’s where the indie development group called Blimp Brigade comes into play with its fan-created campaignHalo: RedShiftand it looks awesome, so far.Halo: RedShifttakes place after the fall of Reach and its campaign can be played on your lonesome or co-op with fellow Spartans as amodforHalo: The Master Chief Collection.

At this time,Halo: RedShiftdoes not have a release date but with a fan-made project as promising as this one, there’s no rush. Unfortunately, as with most mods,Halo: RedShiftis only compatible with the PC version ofHalo: The Master Chief Collection.

If you want to scratch that Halo itch until the next game arrives the entire series is available via Xbox Game Pass on PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One.
