This news will probably not surprise any Halo fan, but the live-action adaptation that streamed on Paramount+ has been cancelled, shocking, I know.
I know there will be some fans disappointed with this news, whether you’re a fan of theHalovideo game series or not, but I doubt not many people would need to sit down when being informed of this revelation.

I love the Halo video game series and have been with it since the very beginning since it made its debut on the originalXboxin 2001, however, as far as I’m concerned, this live-action adaptation falls into the category of cursed video game adaptation.

From what I attempted to watch of this series, it wasn’t really catering for the Halo video game fans and that’s fine in some respects because a new audience has to be brought in and maintained as an addition.
That being said, just like the likes ofResident Evilwhether it’s the live-actionmoviesor thatcancelled Netflix series, I believe there should be a fine balance between veteran and new fans alike.
A part of me is sad that thisHaloseries has been cancelled, not only because there’ll be people out of work but also because this iconic video game series that originated fromBungiedeserved so much better than this.

It is a shame that a series that only premiered in 2022 has already been cancelled after just two seasons but, to be honest, a part of me is surprised that the Halo series that streamed on Paramount + even had a second season greenlit in the first place.
Hopefully, if there is another crack at a Halo live-action series, it will be treated with the respect that it deserves and will go on to be a massive success.
