Luckily, a fan remake ofHarry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stoneis currently in development and aims to bring the retro title to PCs with a fresh coat of paint and enhanced textures, whilst retaining the art style and gameplay fans will fondly remember.
TitledHarry Potter And The Sorcerer’s Stone mod, the descriptionreads: “This is the E3 Project that is currently in development. The goal of this project is to be a complete reimagining of the game in UE2 utilising vanilla and custom assets as well as unused content and complete reprogramming.”
The unused content in particular sounds fascinating and will go a long way to making the game feel more magical than ever before, especially for those who grew up playing it on the PlayStation 2, Nintendo GameCube and original Xbox.
