Harry Potter fans have been praising what looks to be the perfect casting to play Professor Albus Dumbledore in the upcoming HBO series.
News of theHarry Potterlive-action series wasannounced in 2023causing a wave of intrigue from fans wondering whether it could live up to the expectations of themovieseries starring Daniel Radcliffe as “the boy who lived come to die”.

We don’t know for sure who’s going to be cast in the leading roles of the production but what we do know, at least according to a tease fromWarner Bros.is thatHogwarts Legacy 2could have amodern settingto fall in line with the HBO series.

“I think he is perfect casting and I’m rooting for him to get the role,” said ThatGirl8709.
“If he brings the softness he had inBridge of Spies, he’ll be fantastic,” suggests TheGreedyBat.
“I think he’d pull it off perfectly, to be honest. He’s a really good actor. Also, he adds a bit of prestige that may hopefully attract some more top talent,” HelsBels2102 replied.
No release date has been announced for the Harry Potter TV series at the time of writing but it is expected to arrive between 2026 and 2027. We’ll keep you posted when new information drops.
