Triss Merigold or Yennefer of Vengerberg, is the age-old question that has plagued our minds since the dawn of civilization. Well, ok, that’s a slight exaggeration, but it is a troublesome question nonetheless.

In terms of appearances, Yennefer made her debut in 2015’sThe Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, whereas Triss has been in the video games since the very beginning. However, both characters have appeared since the very start of the Netflix series.
That being said, during a fan convention, in a video uploaded to the Digital Spy YouTube channel, former actor of Geralt of Rivia, Henry Cavillwas askedthe apparent age-old question, “Triss Merigold or Yennefer of Vengerberg?” and the actor said that he always picks Yennefer.
“For me, when I played the games, and especially when I read the [Andrzej Sapkowski’s] books, it’s always been. I feel true to Geralt’s core that it’s team Yennefer,” replied Cavill. “Of course, the great thing about the games is that you can do whatever you want, but for me, even in the games, it’s team Yennefer.”
At the time of writing, season four ofThe WitcherNetflix series does not have a release date but it is expected to be released sometime during early 2025. We can’t wait to see what Liam Hemsworth looks like as Geralt of Rivia. Will he look great or will he look cursed? Only time will tell.
