The actor has so much love forThe Witcher, having read all the books and played all the games, that he suited up as Geralt for Netflix’s adaptation. Cavill knows his Witcher lore and that’s likely why healways picks Yenneferwhen he plays the game.

He revealed this nugget in a past interview and said “For me, when I played the games, and especially when I read the books, it’s always been… I felt true to Geralt’s core that it’s team Yennefer.” Of course, it’s well documented that Cavill is so loyal to Sapowski’s books that it played a part inhis departurefrom the Netflix show as they started to deviate too far from the source material.
