Tabletop gaming has arguably never been as hot as it is today and perhaps none more so than theWarhammer 40,000from Games Workshop.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a fan ofWarhammer40,000or not, the chances are that you will know that Mr Cavill is a huge fan, as he is a massive gamer who loves nothing more thanbuilding a beast of a PC.

Since that announcement, news on the Warhammer 40,000 Cinematic Universe has been quiet, that was until now because production is underway. In arecent update, Games Workshop has confirmed that production is now “properly rolling”.
“Well, today we have an update, and it’s one we’ve all been longing to hear. We’ve now signed the full agreement and the next stage can begin!” said Games Workshop in a blog post. “Now comes the fun part: working out all the creative details with our partners and getting the first script written and into production. WhatWarhammer 40,000stories should we tell first? Should we kick off with a movie or a TV show? Both?!”
The blog post concludes: “TV and Film production is a mammoth undertaking. It’s not unusual for projects to take two to three years from this point before something arrives on screen. Still, things are now properly rolling, and you can bet we’ll bring you all the latest updates and cool snippets as soon as we’re able.”

So, there you have it, the Warhammer 40,000 Cinematic Universe is finally underway, though we’re just going to have to be very patient until it arrives on our screens. Hopefully, it will be well worth the wait.
