Hideo Kojima may have just announced the first PlayStation 6 exclusive

Last night, the visionary Hideo Kojima revealed plans for a next-generation “action-espionage game”, and it sounds like it’ll be ready for the PlayStation 6.

PlayStationwrapped up its State Of Play event with several glimpses into what’s on the horizon for the PlayStation 5 and beyond. We got to see twoSilent Hill games, one of which isfree to play right now, a closer look atDeath Stranding 2and much, much more.

However at the end of the show, shortly after a nine-minute longDeath Stranding 2trailer, Hideo Kojima made a special appearance to reveal yet another project currently in the works,Physint.

No gameplay or screenshots were shown, but Kojima did reveal that it’ll be a “action-espionage” game made for the next-generation. He went on to say that it’ll reach the next level of “digital entertainment" and you could argue it’s more like an interactive “movie” than your average video game.

The rest of the project is wrapped in mystery, but predictions and theories are spreading across the internet like wildfire. Many fans quickly pointed out that “action-espionage” is often used to describe theMetal Gearseries, something Kojima worked on for years before leaving Konami.

There’s still a lot we don’t know about Kojima’s mystery game so we’ll just have to keep our eyes peeled for new developments at future PlayStation events.
