Recently, during an interview withGamesreactor, Senior Technical Executive Producer Cris Vega revealed which iteration Bond we’ll get to play as. Vega said: “It’s going to tell the story of the first Bond and how it becomes the secret agent that he is, but that’s what we can comment on.”

The “first bond” doesn’t really give us much to go off, as the timeline of the Bond stories is complicated, to say the least. While there was a clear continuity between Sean Connery’s first appearance in Dr No, all the way to Timothy Dalton’s last appearance the character, things get complicated when you move into “modern” Bond films.

Many consider the Pierce Brosnan films to be a soft reboot of sorts, and Daniel Craig’s films definitely take place in their own timeline.
