Hogwarts Legacywas a massive critical and commercial success when it launched in 2023, so it’s no real surprise to learn Warner Bros. is keen to get the sequel to fans as quickly as possible.

It was previously teased thatHogwarts Legacy 2could embrace a moremodern settingas it aims to synergise with the upcoming Harry Potter HBO series. We also know the new TV series is eyeing a 2027 release window, which could meanHogwarts Legacy 2isn’t far behind it.
For now, though, we don’t really know with 100 percent certainty what to expect from the sequel. All we can really say for certainty right now is that unless it ends up sharing a release window withGTA VI, it’ll probably be the best-selling game of its year. Again.
