That being said, despite the success ofHogwarts Legacy, it still managed to get snubbed at some prestigious video game ceremoniessuch as The Game Awardsto the dismay of disgruntled fans.
Regardless of the ceremony snubs, the commercial success should give the publisher Warner Bros. Games all the confirmation it needs to approve a sequel and while it’s not been officially announced yet, it does seem that plans could already be in motion.
The role would require the would-be applicant to have “strong Unreal and Python/C++ experience” to work on a “high-profile” AAA title.

BeforeHogwarts Legacy, Avalanche Software had worked on many other titles, mostly video game adaptations of various animated productions but the 2023 action RPG was certainly its first major AAA success.
Of course, this listing could be for a new game unrelated toHogwarts Legacy, but given its huge success, it’s most certainly not outside the realm of possibility that the job vacancy could be to work onHogwarts Legacy 2.
AsHogwarts Legacy 2hasn’t been announced, it could be safe to assume that it’s in very early production at best and would likely be a new-gen title should it happen.
Hogwarts Legacyis out now on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
