“There is canonically no reason forHogwarts Legacy 2NOT to do the Triwizard Tournament,” Reddit user BCDragon3000posted.
Others are totally on board: “Amazing plot point that could carry through the length of that game. You’re chosen, and each ‘quest’ is a Triwizard challenge. The tough part would be making it different enough from the book,” ArTooDeeTooTattooreplied. “Yes please[,] it was my biggest want outta the Hogwarts game[,] more so than Quidditch. You could make the tournament be a huge main quest line [that] spans the whole game,”commentedcommanderr01. “Honestly if they do I hope they do it at Durmstrang. I know it’s calledHogwarts Legacyand all… but are they really just going to reuse the map?”addedfxz109dgh2ahj9k.
It’d certainly spice things up a bit from the first game if the devs went down this route, but we’ll just have to wait and see if Avalanche Software takes notes.
