
Hogwarts Legacy 2 is seemingly in development, as developer Avalanche Software is expanding its team for a “High-Profile AAA Title.”
Despite someinitial backlashbecause of J.K Rowling’s existence,Hogwarts Legacysauntered out of 2023 as the year’sbest-selling gamewhich made a sequel all but inevitable. Since then fans have been patiently waiting for an official update on the sequel’s existence.

Now it seems like they won’t have too long to wait, as the game’s developer Avalanche Software is reportedly hiring for its next “High-Profile AAA Title,” which has got to beHogwarts Legacy 2right?

Of course fans must take this with a pinch of salt, as until Avalanche Software orWarner BrosGames confirms the project’s existence it might as well not exist.
That being said, it’d be a huge missed opportunity if a sequel didn’t get a greenlight. Despite the aforementioned controversy andbeing snubbed at the 2023 Game Awards,Hogwarts Legacywas a massive success forHarry Pottergames. There’s also plenty of room for growth, as while the game was a success onPlayStation,Xbox,PCandNintendoplatforms there was a lot of content fans were hoping to see that didn’t make it into the game.
Modders have been working around the clock to add some of these features in, but an official release that ties them all together in a more coherent way would definitely make more sense.
