In the meantime, players are still exploring the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, modding the game onPC, and patiently waiting for an announcement regardingHogwarts Legacy 2, as well as writing their wishlists for features they’d love to see in a sequel.
Recently though, eagle-eyed fans spotted a reference toHogwarts LegacyinHarry Potter: Magic Awakened, which calls out one of the game’s biggest shortcomings and also makes it canon.
This is a reference to part of Hogwarts Legacy’s story, as well as one of thebiggest complaints surrounding the game, whichexplains why the player can’t take part in Quidditch matches. The real reason is obviously that Avalanche Studios didn’t include it in the game, but the story explanation is Headmaster Nigellus Black cancelled the sport due to a student injury.
