The Wizarding World is one of the most popular fandoms on the planet as fans of Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts revel in its enchanting world of mystery.
The most recent video game to arrive within the Warner Bros. IP isHogwarts Legacy, an action RPG set during the 1890s which sees you, an inexperienced student, entering the fifth academic year at the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Recently, fans have been calling for theclassic Harry Potter gamesof the original PlayStation era to be remade. The firstHarry Pottergame to be released wasThe Philosopher’s Stonein 2001, so I think it’s about time those PS1 classics were remade or at the very least remastered. Whether that will actually happen, remains to be seen.
Unfortunately, the concept features nothing else other than Harry flying about and what looks to be something reminiscent of the Black Lake. Hopefully one day, Ripper Junkie might add Hogwarts Castle.

As for the immediate future of the Harry Potter gaming world,Hogwarts Legacyis out now on PC, PlayStation and Xbox with a Nintendo Switch release date to follow on 14 November 2023, assuming that version suffers no further delays.
