Recently, all the nominees were announced for The Game Awards 2023 withBaldur’s Gate 3andAlan Wake 2dominating nominations. As with most prestigious award ceremonies, controversy is never far away, such asStarfieldbeing snubbedfor the major gong, whichnever surprised a section of some fans.

“Hogwarts Legacydid not get a single nomination for The Game Awards 2023,”saidTwitter user PeterOvo. “This is a tragedy and an injustice.”
“It still blows my mind thatHogwarts Legacywasn’t even mentioned at The Game Awards 2023,”exclaimedNikTek. “Not only is this game beautiful in almost every aspect, it has one of the best RPG elements as a Harry Potter Game.”

I get the complaints,Hogwarts Legacyis a fantastic action RPG, especially for fans of the Wizarding World. It has a fun story, it looks stunning and has incredible music. That being said, I can’t help but think that with it being released so early in the year, it simply got lost in the shuffle in what has to be the best year for video game releases in recent memory, which is a shame.
