
It’s officially October which means thatHogwarts Legacyshould be launching on Nintendo Switch next month, on 14 November to be exact.
Fansaren’t convinced that it’ll actually happen. It’s been a long while since we heard of any news regarding the Switch port. We know thatHogwarts Legacyunderwentvast simplifications to run on Xbox One and PlayStation. External castle bridges were transformed into dull internal corridors, while leaving and entering buildings forced the introduction of loading screens. You can’t blame many for questioning just how the game will run on Switch then. It’s also suspicious that it didn’t appear during the latest Nintendo Direct, which focused on games releasing this Winter. One game that we do know is definitely on the way though isHarry Potter: Quidditch Championsbut fans are divided after gameplay footage leaked online.

With those playtests underway, some gameplay footage has found its way online. It’s since been taken down but not before fans could give their opinions on it. “It looks fast paced. I like it,”saidone optimistic fan, while anotheradded, “Looks fun. Reminds me a lot ofRocket League.” Crushmedavidcommented, “Looks decent. I’d have expected worse. I don’t know if I’d pay for it though. Maybe if it’s free-to-play.”
On the other end of the spectrum, OGBladeRunnersaid, “I can already smell the microtransactions,” plus FinalChargerSRT392added, “Looks a bit boring to me.” Well, it sounds as if it’s not for everyone but it could make for a quick dose of silly fun with friends. We’ll be keeping an eye out on further developments.
