InHogwarts Legacy, you’re tasked with putting a stop to a powerful form of ancient magic. InCyberpunk 2077, you’ll fight an array of foes using a multitude of high tech weapons. If you throw both of those aspects into a mixing pot, you’ll end up withDefenders of the Omniverse.
Take a look atDefenders of the Universein action below.
The aim of the game is to take down the “vile hordes of the Dark Wizard Umbros”. That could pique the interest of Wizarding World fans. IfCyberpunk 2077is more your jam, enemy types include “radioactive wasteland cyborg orcs” and “metal-skinned space vikings”. Already, this game sounds truly wild.

You’ll be able to play as several different heroes, each boasting their own unique Ultimate Ability. Given that the game remains in the late stages of development, character specifics are not yet available. We do know though that you’ll be able to pick from a varied weapon line-up. What perhaps most caught my eye is the fact that Umbros, the evil Dark Wizard, has random abilities that change each time you meet him. This is one boss fight you won’t be able to prepare for via practice.
As I mentioned,Defenders of the Omniverseremains in development, but a free demo is available to download and enjoy now onSteam. That way, it’s oh so very simple to give this indie delight a whirl before the full release lands further down the road. You’ve got nothing to lose.
