An image was shared that featured a dragon carving or metal structure in a wall which looked to contain a secret passage. A second image also reveals what looks to be a symbol of a compass pointing to something. Much of the Reddit thread has speculated that this secret entrance may have originally had a purpose from the developers but a decision was potentially made not to use it for whatever reason. We can only speculate.

“Ooh! Interesting that this is still in the game. I’ve snooped in the game files and this is indeed cut content. There are treasure maps for each Hogwarts house in the game files and the treasure map for Slytherin has the little compass symbol drawn on it,” said an intrigued No_Scarcity_1682. “Also, based on the names of 3D assets used for the Slytherin common room, I’m pretty sure the mouth of the dragon head in your picture was supposed to open and lead to a secret room.”

“That’s so cool! I’m praying that they add it as some sort of future DLC (but we all know that it’s unlikely)” replied a hopeful No-Package6347. “The level of the cut content that nearly made it into this game is astounding,” said friendlywhitewitch.
