Horizon Zero Dawn fans hyped as ‘dark’ new game teased

Whilst there have been some major discounts in recent months, it’s no secret that the PSVR2 is an expensive bit of kit.

It’s a shame really, becauseHorizon: Call of the Mountainis such a fantastic game and a total must-play for fans of the acclaimedGuerrilla Gamesseries.

With so few of us actually owning a PSVR2 though, many unfortunately were not able to experience this epic adventure.

Horizon: Call of the Mountainsecured a very respectable score of 79 over on Metacritic upon release.

Trusted Reviews granted it a perfect 10,writing, “Horizon Call of the Mountainhas set a new benchmark for VR games. Rather than trying to shoehorn classic game mechanics into the VR format, Guerrilla Games and Firesprite have rebuilt the likes of combat and climbing from scratch to result in a wonderfully immersive experience.”

As that particular review notes, the game was made in collaboration with Firesprite and if you’ve been itching to hear what the studio will be following upHorizon: Call of the Mountainwith, a tease has arrived.

ICYMI:LEGO Horizon Adventureslaunches later this year. Take a look at the game in action below.

Unfortunately, it sounds as if Firesprite will be moving on from the Horizon IP but their next game sounds equally exciting.

It’s set to be a AAA project with “photorealistic” environments and characters.

It’s described as “highly ambitious” and will use “atmosphere, storytelling, player agency, and narrative firmly into ground-breaking territory on next-generation hardware technologies” to create a “compelling” experience.
