This has put a smile on my face.
PlayStation’s rumouredHorizon Zero Dawnremaster has surfaced online, appearing on the Entertainment Software Rating Board’s (ESRB) site.
There have been whispers surrounding a possible remake or remaster of the acclaimedGuerrilla Games2017 release for quite some time, but there’s not particularly been anything in the way of concrete evidence.

That’s no longer true as it doesn’t get much more concrete than an ESRB rating, other than an official announcement from Sony or Guerrilla.
The ESRB rating, which calls the titleHorizon Zero Dawn Remastered, decrees that the game is set to launch onPCandPlayStation 5, making it a new-gen PlayStation exclusive.
Yes, that also confirms that it is indeed a remaster we’re getting, not a remake, which I think makes sense.

LEGO Horizon Adventuresis on the way later this year.
Horizon Zero Dawnis already a stunning game but its lifeless NPCs pale in comparison to those you’ll find inForbidden West, so I do hope that dead-behind-the-eyes look is gone.
The listing doesn’t give much else away, simply highlighting aspects of the game that determined its rating but those are practically the same as the first time around.

I want to know when Sony is going to lift the lid on this project.
If you’ve been on social media this week, you’ll know that rumours are abound suggesting that a State of Play is imminently on the way.
So-called insiders are claiming it’ll be announced in the next day or so, to be held on 24 September.
I’d urge you to take this information with an enormous pinch of salt, but should the rumour be true, it’s not out of the realm of possibility thatHorizon Zero Dawn Remasteredmight surface during the showcase.
