Horizon Zero Dawn sequel Seeds Of Rebellion just got one step closer

If you’re a fan of Guerrilla Games’ Horizon franchise, you’re going to want to keep an eye onHorizon Forbidden West: Seeds of Rebellion.

Unveiled back in September,Seeds of Rebellionis a co-operative tabletop adventure set in the titularForbidden Westseveral years prior to Aloy’s arrival. Players assume the role of Tenakth loyalists during the days of Regalla’s rebellion, under the safe guidance of Chief Hekarro. It’s not just Regalla’s forces that stand in your way though. You’ll also have to face a variety of fearsome machines and deal with the spread of blight throughout the Forbidden West in a game that interweaves combat encounters with a thrilling narrative campaign.

In our preview, I wrote, “Seeds of Rebellionis a flawless extension of this world both in terms of lore and mechanics. Playing a board game may be very different to playing a video game and yetSeeds of Rebellionfelt so familiar to me, and I know many other longtime franchise fans are certain to feel that way too. This game offers endless hours of fun and is one to keep an eye on.”

If you have been keeping an eye on the project, you’ll know it launched on Kickstarter in November. Well, the good news is that the project hit its goal. So, what’s next? Well the pledge manager will open in early 2024 for those who pledged. Via this, you’ll be able to finalise shipping addresses and such like, whilst also receiving updates on how production is progressing.
