In the comic book, Mark/Invincible finds himself in the Marvel Comics and teams up with Spidey in order to fight Doc Ock. If this were to happen inInvincible, it would be the first time that Spider-Man has made a film/TV R-rated appearance.
Series creator Robert Kirkman has also teased that season two will utilise the concept of the multiverse which should really come as no surprise. It’s the hot superhero trope of the moment. It’s further evidence for the Spidey theory though, as is the fact that Sony has a TV deal with Amazon. Finally, we know that Josh Keaton is set to be joining the cast. It’s not known who Keaton is voicing, but he has previously voiced Spidey inThe Spectacular Spider-Manand the 2017-2020Spider-Manseries. You’ve got to admit, this is a hugely convincing theory.
