Graphically, this remake is leaps and bounds ahead of what the original looked like in 1999, bringing it up to date whilst also somehow managing to maintain that retro feel. Take a look below.
Speaking about the project, Ali wrote, “I’ve implemented a new locomotion system, bringing in features like flying, combat, climbing, and an interaction system with switches and boxes. The upcoming update will primarily focus on adding some magic abilities and introducing some wandering enemies.”

Already, Legacy of Kain fans are blown away. “This is so damn cool. Keep doing this,” one wrote, while another added, “Been waiting a long time.” It’s not yet known what Ali’s plans are once the project is complete. In a comment reply, the creator stated that he originally just wanted to track his progress and share his work with friends, but given the incredible reception, “a playable version might be in the cards down the line.” We sure hope so.
