Nintendo’s upcoming film adaptation of The Legend of Zelda is something that’s been discussed in depth here at GAMINGbible.
You see, we’re all in agreement that if we’d all had a choice, it’s an animated adaptation that we’d have opted for.
Just imagine Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf brought to life in the art style of Pixar or Studio Ghibli.

Oh, it would have been a sight to behold.
It always sort of lived in the shadow of the hugely successful The Hunger Games series, which was released around the same time, but that shouldn’t take away from the fact that it was a solid, well-put together trilogy.

Does that give me faith in the director’s upcoming take onThe Legend of Zelda? Well, yes, a tad.
Wes Ball can clearly translate worlds so unlike our own to the big screen, so that bodes well.
If a live-action The Legend of Zelda film is to work, I think it has to be made with the same kind of approach and dedication asThe Lord of the Ringsfilm series.
I want to see tangible locations and practical effects used for the world’s creatures where possible.

What we don’t want is an uncanny valley CGI-heavy mess like we’re seeing with theMinecraftfilm, but I digress.
The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdomwas the most recent game in the series to launch.
As the film remains some way off, fans have taken to discussing their casting ideas and there’s one in particular that’s gained widespread support.

Picture this: Danny Devito as Tingle.
This is assuming that Tingle will appear in the film but let’s be honest, it just wouldn’t be the same without him given his inclusion in so many of the franchise’s very best entries.
“I don’t care what happens, as long as we get Danny DeVito as Tingle,”wroteReddit user Arryu.
“It fits so perfectly. I can picture the voice and I can even picture a vivid scene lmao,”addedanother user.
