I’m not sure how Tolkien would feel about this one. The folks on Twitter weren’t too sure either.
This comes after the inclusion felt a bit silly. However, it would make some sort of sense. After all, this comes after hundreds of years since Orcs appeared, how else does the population grow?

Though this does bring up the image of Orc copulation - don’t Google it.
This idea kind of tracks with Tolkien’s concepts, but it’s never fully realised. The author wrote only that Orcs “multiply” but I guess they had bump very uglies in order to bolster their numbers.
