
Remasters are pretty common these days, whether we like it or not, but with classic games not receiving the updates they so desperately deserve, players are understandably feeling annoyed.

However, with the news that 2004’sStar Wars: Battlefrontwould be receiving a remake and remaster, it has got fans thinking about another hit title that could follow suit.

As an adaptation ofPeter Jackson’sThe Lord of the Rings: Two TowersandThe Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King,the game was an instant success and considered even better than its predecessor,The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towerswhich had been released a year prior.
With fans praising its graphics, audio and gameplay but finding fault with its short length and camera positioning, it was an overall positive experience so it is no wonder that fans would love to see it brought to modern-day consoles.
The discussion kicked off earlier this year over on r/gaming when user Alisalard1384 posted a screenshot of the 2003 game’s character select menu.
