Lord Of The Rings fans are praising a turn-based RPG you might not know about, and it’s calledLord Of The Rings: The Third Age.

That being said, some Lord Of The Rings games can be incredibly fun, though one you might not have heard of isLord Of The Rings: The Third Age. It was a turn-based RPG released in 2004 for the originalXbox, thePlayStation2 and theNintendoGameCube.

“Loved that this game also had an ‘Evil Mode’ (can’t remember the actual name of it) where you got to play some of the game’s battles as the bad guys,” one comment read.

“And it was better than it had any right to be. Fond memories. Would buy a remaster," said one fan, while another added, “And it was good ! I have great memories of this game. Also the replayability was great.”

When you think about a turn-based RPG, it is the best genre for a Lord Of The Rings game. With new films reportedly on the horizon, and the never-ending popularity of the series in general, perhaps we’ll finally get another AAA video game that does the books and films justice.
