It seems as though the Marvel Cinematic Universe is showing no signs of slowing down with one Marvel boss teasing a solo movie we have all been eagerly waiting for.

Now according to one of Marvel Studios’ top producers, Scarlet Witch will be the next superhero to get her very own solo movie.
We first met Marvel’s Scarlet Witch, also known as Wanda Maximoff, in 2014’sCaptain America: The Winter Soldierand she has since gone on to feature inDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnessto name just one.
This news comes courtesy of MCU writer/producer Jac Schaeffer who spoke at the recent world premiere event for Marvel Studios’Agatha All Along.

Speaking toVariety, Schaeffer was questioned on the potential for a Scarlet Witch movie.
“I mean, I’m just here hoping for a Scarlet Witch movie, right? We all want Wanda, so fingers crossed that’s a thing that happens.”
However, when asked if she thought it was at all possible, she admitted that she was too busy withAgatha All Alongat the moment to be able to “quite see through the trees”.
“I don’t know! I’m in witchy Agatha-land right now, and I can’t quite see through the trees, but we’re hoping.”

So other than the rumours, it seems as though a Scarlet Witch centered movie is not on the cards right now.
At least not officially.
However, with MCU fans eagerly anticipating it, it would be a shame for Marvel not to cash in on this idea.
